Key Responsibilities:

• Receive pre-alert documents from carriers.
• Verify pre-alert documents to ensure compliance with existing air cargo instructions.
• Communicate with carriers/contractors for modifications/clarifications.
• Ensure receipt of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) from hazardous goods carriers.
• Receive incoming shipments in the warehouse:
• Confirm compliance of received cargo quantities with the Bills of Lading.
• Inspect shipments for damages.
• If any damage and/or missing cargo exceeds what is declared in the Bill of Lading:
• Enter notes on a bill of lading.
• Notify stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue OS&D report (SAP or Excel) – Shortage and Damage Report.
• Measure and weigh incoming shipments and accurately record data in the Receipt Report.
• Apply appropriate barcodes and labels to received packages.
• Complete the Receipt Report in Excel and send it to stakeholders within 2 hours of receiving the shipment.
• Keep the Daily Inventory Report updated and communicate it to the team.
• Prepare and dispatch shipments to the airport:
• Prepare truck loads for the airport according to the Priority List received from the Logistics Manager.
• Coordinate the volume and weight of dispatches to the airport with the Port Logistics Manager.
• Monitor truck loading.
• Issue and distribute the Load Guide to stakeholders within 15 minutes of loading a truck.
• Receive the Flight Cargo Manifest from the airport and distribute it to stakeholders 30 minutes after receipt – including weekends and official holidays.

Note: The candidate must be physically fit to handle items weighing up to 25 kg manually.
