About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to lead the development of various IoT projects at Vodafone. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet our revenue targets and maintain our market reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development team's progress to ensure alignment with the initial design.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
- Evaluate and identify opportunities for new technology solutions or methodologies to enhance current or future products and services, including integration with legacy systems.
- Act as a subject matter expert for selected domain environments and ecosystems.
- Influence and build effective relationships with peers within the group, local markets, suppliers, and partners.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of server technologies.
- Strong academic knowledge and professional experience of software development: Java Enterprise, Oracle 11G, Linux, Windows.
- Experience in software architecture, design and development patterns.
- Experience of providing and maintaining transformations and APIs for customers and partners.
- Good understanding of Databases – Oracle, MongoDB, ElasticSearch.
- Experience with java frameworks, SpringBoot, Spring technologies, Camunda.
- Experience with container systems (docker) and orchestrators (docker compose, Kubernetes).
