About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to our mission. As a Full Stack Developer at GRID, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge products. Your technical expertise will shape the future of our technology stack and inform our processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Leadership: Own the front and backend development roadmap, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Software Development: Develop, maintain, and continually improve our front and back-end web applications, leveraging best practices in testing and DevOps.
- API Integrations: Responsible for API integrations with third-party providers, including other financial services, to enhance our offerings.
- Quality Assurance: Lead on the implementation of best practices in testing and DevOps, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Documentation: Responsible for writing comprehensive documentation to support our products and services.
- Code Maintenance: Maintain our open-source codebases on GitHub, collaborating with the team to ensure code quality and organization.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team members to establish efficient workflows and ensure seamless collaboration.
- Technical Expertise: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications.
- Problem-Solving: Identify bottlenecks and defects, and devise solutions to address and mitigate, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership and management to support the team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
- At least 5 years' experience working in Full Stack / Web Development.
- Experience building robust software systems, including reusability, logging, monitoring, and testing.
- Experience creating continuous integration and release workflows.
- Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously.
- Demonstrated ability of project management & execution in software delivery.
- Preferable experience with technologies similar to React, Bootstrap, Svelte, AWS, Lambda, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Git, GitLab pipeline, etc.
- Cloud know-how (Google, AWS).
- Native level spoken and written English.
- You're a motivated and enthusiastic individual, eager to learn and grow with our company.
- You're passionate about delivering high-quality products and services that meet the needs of our customers.
- You're a team player, comfortable working collaboratively to achieve common goals.
- Curious about Bitcoin and its potential to drive positive change.
- Experience working within payments or financial companies.
- Experience using AI coding tools (Github Co-Pilot, Codeium, Code Whisperer, etc).
