Job Summary
Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead the manufacturing activities for a project(s) of an Elementary Production Unit (EPU). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all manufacturing activities, including industrial process hand-over, operator training, and task assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage manufacturing activities, including production planning, quality control, and inventory management.
- Be responsible for requests for training & qualification of operators, requests for hiring (internal, external, temporary), and requests & requirements for sub-contracting.
- Oversee the industrial process hand-over from methods to manufacturing, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement training programs for operators, covering manufacturing and self-inspection procedures.
- Assign tasks to operators' workload, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Perform optimizations of the workstation/work center using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including line balancing.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in a relevant field.
- 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Previous experience with welding processes, including GMAW, GTAW, and spot welding.
- Basic English language proficiency.
