As part of a nimble yet impactful marketing team at BCG, the Energy Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing our content strategy, which includes both thought leadership and commercial materials. The individual will also be responsible for crafting social media initiatives aimed at amplifying BCG's insights on our Energy LinkedIn platform, driving follower growth and engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will engage in the following:
- Develop and execute a robust content agenda that highlights BCG's expertise in the energy domain.
- Create and manage social media campaigns to elevate our thought leadership presence.
- Produce high-quality internal and external communications utilizing tools such as SalesForce and Outlook.
- Provide strategic, operational, and logistical support for key external engagement initiatives, including third-party events.
- Collaborate with a global marketing team across various time zones and coordinate with BCG's centers of expertise.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong interest in B2B marketing, particularly within the energy sector.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities coupled with outstanding writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in design and social media management, especially on LinkedIn.
- Fluency in English, with a proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- A flexible and independent work ethic, with experience in virtual team settings.
The candidate should have:
- 6-8+ years of relevant marketing experience in a professional services context.
- Experience in a consulting environment is advantageous.
- A Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record is preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with social media tools like LinkedIn and Sprinklr.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills, adept at navigating a fast-paced work environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A commitment to execution and meticulous attention to detail.
The role will involve working closely with the Global Marketing Director for Energy and collaborating with marketing colleagues and leadership within the energy practice across various global offices.
