Job Title: Encargado De Explotación Agraria

At Ecoagro Morvedre Servicios Sl, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Encargado De Explotación Agraria to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and advising on the production of citrus fruits and avocados in our agricultural farms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and supervise agricultural activities in the farm, focusing on citrus and avocado cultivation, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting.
  • Provide expert advice on specific agricultural practices for citrus and avocado cultivation, including pruning, pest and disease control, and soil management.
  • Coordinate and lead a team of farm workers, ensuring high efficiency and quality in agricultural operations.
  • Monitor and control citrus and avocado crops, identifying and resolving problems related to pests, diseases, and specific weather conditions.
  • Manage the farm's budget and resources efficiently to optimize production and maximize yields.
  • Maintain accurate records and report regularly on farm progress, focusing on citrus and avocado cultivation.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Agronomy or Technical Agronomy or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role for at least one year is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of specific cultivation techniques, water management, and fertilization for citrus and avocado crops.
  • Excellent organizational and process creation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and lead a group of farm workers, focusing on citrus and avocado cultivation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Availability to reside in the area and work flexible hours according to farm needs.
