Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex problems and develop innovative solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable software systems
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code using industry-standard programming languages
  • Work with data scientists and engineers to build predictive models and analytics solutions
  • Design and implement distributed storage, index, and query systems
  • Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in a cloud computing environment
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
  • Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous technical internship experience
  • Experience with optimization mathematics, such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical ideas and solutions
