Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Lead to join our team in Bilbao, Spain. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of steel making processes for our decarbonization program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Engineering Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team to ensure the successful design and implementation of steel making processes.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain deep technical knowledge of steel making processes and ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, quality, and budget adherence.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including OEMs, EPCMs, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in project development and 5+ years of experience as a Process Engineering Lead.
  • Technical Skills: Deep technical knowledge of steel making processes, ability to work with latest technologies, and effective communication skills in English.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and lead a team, and effective communication skills.
