Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Procurement & Compliance Intern to join our expanding Group Procurement Team. This role will report directly to the Group Procurement Compliance department and is based in Madrid.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will play a vital role in supporting various procurement functions, including:
- Acting as an e-sourcing expert, assisting the organization in utilizing the procurement system effectively.
- Collaborating with Procurement Buyers and Managers to assess and qualify suppliers.
- Assisting in managing data protection risks associated with external suppliers.
- Identifying and addressing supplier and service risks during the qualification and evaluation stages.
Support Functions
- Overseeing the global database for supplier qualification and evaluation.
- Maintaining accurate records of supplier qualifications and evaluations.
- Providing reports and support for non-compliance issues.
- Ensuring the e-sourcing system is up-to-date and configured correctly.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A university degree, preferably in Law or Business Management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to engage in business discussions and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in procurement or familiarity with eProcurement tools and ERP systems is advantageous.
