About the Role

Fujitsu is seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our cybersecurity analytics team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data loading processes, master data management, data migrations, and real-time processes
  • Lead the governance of data in complex architectures, compile functional documentation, and design data procedures
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of data engineers to establish data strategy and leverage managed data using agile methodologies
  • Identify new use cases to model analytical applications and analyze, evaluate, and implement new technologies, tools, or frameworks around data management
  • Master all concepts around data lifecycle, including data quality, transformation, analysis, data governance, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
  • Certification as Data Engineer (e.g., Cloudera Certified Professional Data Engineer, IBM Certified Data Engineer, Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer)
  • At least 7 years of experience in IT or consultancy industry
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, API REST, Bash/Shell script, SQL, NoSQL
  • Experience with BI data visualization tools like Microstrategy, big data modeling with Impala, Hive, HBase, or similar
  • Knowledge of databases like MySQL, MongoDB, HBase, SolR, Hive & Impala, and end-to-end ETL processes
  • Experience with Apache NiFi for data flow automation
