We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Inetum Spain. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our big data platforms and data products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop data pipelines that ingest, transform, and prepare data from various sources into our data hub platform and data products.
- Perform technical analysis to understand data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using DataStage.
- Test and ensure the quality of data pipelines.
- Package and deliver solutions efficiently.
- Resolve production issues and work closely with IT OPS to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the team's success.
- Present work in development reviews and exchange constructive feedback with the development team.
- Work alongside Business Analysts to align on requirements and solutions.
- Technical Tools: DataStage (11.7 / Designer / Monitor), Linux Red Hat / Shell Unix / MobaXterm / Putty, Oracle / SQL Developer, Big Data Technologies: Hadoop, Scala, Flows CFT / GPG, JIRA, Confluence, Teams, GIT.
- Skills & Experience: Business Skills: Strong relationship management between business and IT, Knowledge of banking industry and processes (nice to have). Transversal Skills: Agile methodology experience, Behavioral Skills: Attention to detail and rigorous, Ability to understand, explain, and support change, Results-driven and able to deliver high-quality outcomes, Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, Strong problem-solving abilities, Project management skills (bonus). Languages: English: B2 or higher, French: B1 or higher (nice to have).
