Job Title: Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory Technician to join our team at the Fundacion para la Investigacion Biomedica del Hospital Universitario Ramon y Cajal (FIBIOHRC). The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analyses to support research projects in the field of biological sciences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyses to support research projects in biological sciences
  • Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with research teams to design and conduct experiments
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform research findings
  • Develop and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
Requirements:
  • Higher Technician in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory or equivalent qualification
  • Training in microbiology, bacteriology, and molecular biology
  • Previous experience in microbiology, microbiome, and antimicrobial resistance-associated projects
  • Basic laboratory management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week
  • Permanent contract with the Foundation
  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative research environment
