Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory Technician to join our research team at Euraxess. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of new biomedical technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory tests and experiments to analyze biological samples and data
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform research decisions
  • Develop and implement new laboratory protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with research team members to achieve project goals
  • Contribute to the development of new biomedical technologies and products

Requirements:

  • Higher Technician in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory or equivalent qualification
  • Training in microbiology, bacteriology, and molecular biology
  • Previous experience in microbiology, microbiome, and antimicrobial resistance-associated projects
  • Basic laboratory management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PCR, MALDI-TOF, growth curves, DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, electrophoresis, antibiotic sensitivity testing, and genomics and metagenomics workflows
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
