About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Korean Metadata Specialist to join our team in Japan. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for verifying content accuracy, editing data, and making decisions on content with limited information.

Responsibilities
  • Verify content accuracy and ensure it meets provided standards
  • Edit data and content as needed
  • Make decisions on content with limited information
  • Report patterns of issues to improve database and product performance
  • Test tools to provide feedback for improving efficiency and accuracy
  • Work and communicate with cross-functional teams
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is proficient in Korean, has a proven ability to maintain motivation and focus through repetitive tasks, and is highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

You should have sharp problem-solving and analytical skills, along with the ability to learn from history and prevent errors from recurring. Additionally, you should be comfortable navigating ambiguity to make sound judgment calls and have a wide-ranging and up-to-date knowledge of local movies, TV shows, music, literature, social media platforms, cultural sensitivities, and nuance.

A knowledge of advanced spreadsheet and XML is a plus. This position may require work outside of normal business hours, on weekends, and holidays.
