About the Role

The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) is seeking a highly skilled and organized Evening Program Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our evening programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic and administrative support services to students and ensure quality assurance standards are met.
  • Document all student contact and schedule follow-up activities.
  • Communicate effectively with host military Education Services Officers and Education Center staff.
  • Organize and participate in local events, such as Education Fairs, Open Houses, and Graduations, to promote UMGC.
  • Track and analyze class enrollments and student interest to inform scheduling decisions.
  • Assist with processing students' military documentation, including Tuition Assistance vouchers and ID cards.
  • Distribute marketing materials and provide facility support as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Background in customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Basic office management and clerical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet requirements for individual logistic support (ILS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some college coursework.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license.
