About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Satellite Navigation Ground Segment Engineer to join our team at GMV. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our satellite navigation ground segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ground Segment Design: Participate in the design of logical and physical architectures for our satellite navigation ground segments.
  • Requirements Management: Manage requirements for our ground segment systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Engineering Documentation: Generate and maintain high-quality engineering documentation, including design, interfaces, plans, requirements, and technical notes.
  • Technical Studies: Execute technical studies to improve the performance and efficiency of our ground segment systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to other teams, including subcontractors, cybersecurity, integration, and deployment teams.
  • Client and Subcontractor Interaction: Interact with clients, such as the European Space Agency, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduates in Space System Engineering with a strong interest in model-based methodologies, Linux-based systems, software development, and relevant IT knowledge.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Python, Excel, and other relevant technologies, as well as experience with hardware, networks, and other IT-related areas.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
