About the Role

GMV is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced navigation and control systems for a major European programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for researching and implementing cutting-edge technologies for a hypersonic and other high-performance airborne threat interceptor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis of existing and state-of-the-art algorithms for navigation and control systems
  • Development and implementation of new algorithms and their coding
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate navigation and control systems into the overall programme
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong background in applied mathematics, classical mechanics, and programming languages such as MATLAB/Simulink and C++
  • Knowledge of navigation systems (Kalman filter, hybridisation, GNSS error modelling) and guidance and control systems (classical, modern)
  • Experience with Python programming is a plus
