Job Summary

Nord Anglia Education Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, fostering a love of learning, and promoting academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Learning
    • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students
    • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
    • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to promote student learning
  • Pastoral Care
    • Provide guidance and support to students to enhance their wellbeing and academic progress
    • Monitor student attendance and report any concerns to relevant authorities
    • Participate in break time and lunchtime duties to promote a positive school culture
  • Parent Communication
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication
    • Provide regular progress reports and attend parent-teacher conferences
    • Keep parents informed of student achievements and progress
  • Classroom Environment
    • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
    • Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies to promote student learning
    • Ensure that all students are treated with equity and respect
  • Teamwork and Professional Development
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
    • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice and student learning
    • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in English Literature
    • Experience of teaching A Level, AP, IB MYP, IB DP, or ESO
  • Experience
    • At least 3-5 years' experience of teaching in an international setting
    • Demonstrable passion and detailed knowledge of subject areas
  • Language
    • Native or advanced level of English
