Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote student engagement and motivation
- Pastoral Care
- Provide guidance and support to students, addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs
- Monitor student attendance and well-being, reporting concerns to relevant authorities
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events to foster a sense of community
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment strategies
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice
- Qualifications
- QTS/PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject
- Experience
- At least 2 years' experience in teaching A Level, AP, IB MYP, IB DP, or ESO
- Knowledge and experience of working with IB curricula
- Skills and Personal Qualities
- Demonstrable passion and detailed knowledge of subject areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
