About the Role

Scopely is seeking a skilled Unity UI Engineer to contribute to the development of a new, ambitious mobile game. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for millions of players.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with UI Designers to ensure seamless integration of designs into the game engine
  • Work with Game Client Engineers to maintain coding standards and develop tools for improved project efficiency
  • Develop and implement UI features, including localization, performance optimization, and device-specific requirements
  • Identify and resolve UI-related issues, ensuring a high-quality player experience
  • Develop and maintain UI best practices for the team

Requirements

  • Experience in developing and integrating UI in games using Unity
  • Advanced knowledge of C# scripting for Unity UI and Editor
  • Experience working with different resolutions and mobile platforms
  • Proficiency in Photoshop for image editing and slicing
  • Ability to profile and identify performance issues
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluency in Git

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent C# skills
  • Solid understanding of programming principles and system architecture
  • Experience with real-time shader development and rendering
  • Mobile experience and understanding of platform limitations
