About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Unity Developer to join our team at the i2CAT Foundation. As a Unity Developer, you will play a key role in advancing our research and innovation in real-time distributed video services, focusing on immersive media formats like volumetric video.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the Holoconference Unity SDK called HoloMIT, implementing new features and integrating in-house new Holographic pipelines and optimizations.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge research and innovation tasks, shaping the future of HoloMIT in collaboration with experts in media and networks domains.
  • Collaborate with international partners from academia and industry on competitive national and international projects, including Horizon Europe and European Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' professional development experience, preferably in teams of at least 5 people.
  • Proficiency with Unity3D and hands-on experience in the graphics sector, preferably in immersive technologies (XR, VR, AR).
  • Robust expertise in C#, 2D/3D graphics, and memory management, as well as software and architecture design skills.
  • Experience with agile development and scrum methodology.
