ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a passionate, collaborative, and forward-thinking individual for the role of Teacher of English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Cover, dedicated to supporting students aged 9 to 16.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement the school's EAL intervention program for students in Years 5 to 11.
- Assist in the development of planning, resources, and curriculum for the EAL program.
- Collaborate with the Head of Admissions to identify students eligible for EAL support, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance throughout the academic year.
- Contribute to the English department by providing EAL resources to facilitate differentiation and support the Secondary Head of English.
- Work in partnership with the EAL teacher to ensure a seamless transition for EAL students from Year 4 to Year 5.
- Provide coverage for planned and unplanned teacher absences as directed.
