Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our Finance Department at Euronet – EFT Segment. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations with local regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations: Oversee the accounting operations, perform day-to-day and closing activities according to group's deadlines with full ownership of the tasks and in compliance with the group's policies and procedures.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and issue customer invoices, process supplier invoices promptly and accurately.
  • Fixed Assets Management: Manage and account for fixed assets, including maintaining the fixed assets register.
  • Transaction Reconciliation: Record and reconcile transactions between related parties, bank transactions, intercompany payments.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
  • Financial Policy Implementation: Implement financial policies to ensure transparency.
Requirements:
  • Education: University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting related discipline.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel skills and MS Office.
  • Language: Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of international accounting principles (IFRS) and procedures.
  • Eligibility: Eligible to work in the EU on full-time permanent basis without the need of employer sponsorship.
