International Air Cargo Coordinator

The Air Import Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient and precise handling of freight and information within the Air Department, while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate a seamless and timely freight processing workflow.
- Perform accurate and prompt data entry into the operational system.
- Monitor and trace Air Import files as necessary.
- Utilize Workflows consistently in daily operations.
- Guarantee timely delivery of freight to clients for Import shipments.
- Ensure that documentation is promptly sent to clients or brokers for customs clearance.
- Manage accurate and timely billing for clients and service providers.
- Engage with customers to coordinate their international shipments, adhering to service standards.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, including airlines and trucking companies.
- Comply with all regulations, including internal policies and external government requirements.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement within the department.
- Adhere to and update customers' standard operating procedures.
- Achieve KPI standards as outlined by company policies.
- Handle overseas communications with timely responses to internal and external inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with air documentation processes is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate effectively.
- Proactive with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- IATA certification is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required (assessment will be conducted).
