Job Title: Senior Filter Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Filter Design Engineer to join our team at Qorvo. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance acoustic filters for Wi-Fi and Automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop BAW and SAW filter components for Wi-Fi and Automotive applications
  • Design microwave acoustic devices using various design techniques, including conventional bandpass filters, ladder filters, notch filters, CRF filters, and acoustic-assisted filters
  • Perform acoustic and electromagnetic simulations using commercially available tools and provide final device layout to support photomask set creation
  • Collaborate with process engineers and R&D team to optimize filter performance
  • Work with characterization and test engineers to evaluate and diagnose devices using the latest RF/Microwave test equipment
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design flow, method, and cycle time
Requirements:
  • MSEE or Ph.D. (preferred)
  • Industry or academic experience in RF circuit design, EM simulation, layout design, impedance matching, and filter component evaluation
  • Direct experience in BAW or SAW design preferred
  • Knowledge of microelectronic fabrication and high-volume manufacturing, statistical analysis, and six-sigma method for process improvement
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
