About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Demand and Project Manager to join our team at Linde GmbH, Gases Division. As a key member of our IT Demand and Project Management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the IT demand pipeline, managing and optimizing the portfolio, and delivering projects that maximize business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently on demand qualification and project delivery, engaging and collaborating with stakeholders from various departments and levels in the organization.
  • Define, set up, and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams tailored for project success.
  • Identify and qualify new IT demand with experts from the REW Business Units, optimizing the demand towards business value add.
  • Set up delivery towards minimized risk, optimal cost, and maximized throughput.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in time, scope, and cost via applying agile and classic project management standards.
  • Contribute expertise to further refine processes and tools of our IT Demand and Project Management function.
  • Be a reliable and trusted partner towards internal customers from the REW Business Units and various delivery teams in REW-, EMEA-, and Corporate-IT.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar area.
  • Have at least 8 years of professional experience in a related industrial environment, with experience in IT consulting a plus.
  • Have practical experience in Project Management, preferably IT project management, applying industry standard methodologies (e.g. PMI, SCRUM).
  • Have a sense for IT as business value enabler and be obsessed with understanding and refining business processes and tools.
  • Be able to moderate workshops and communicate with various stakeholders effectively, result-driven.
  • Be able to coordinate, manage, and delegate.
  • Be able to define and create deliverables independently as well as in a team.
  • Have very good English skills and be willing to travel occasionally.
