Telefónica S. A. is seeking a talented Network Capability Junior Developer to join our Technology Exploration unit in the Global CTIO unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and refining technologies for the exposure and access to network capabilities, addressing the Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) paradigm.
Main Responsibilities- Specify NaaS architecture elements for the exposure and access to network capabilities, applicable to Telefónica services worldwide.
- Develop and validate prototypes for network capability exposure elements, preferably using open-source solutions.
- Assure the interoperability of network capability exposure elements with other ones, provided by industry partners and researchers collaborating with Telefónica.
- Study the applicability of new programming patterns in NaaS, considering the business and operational needs of our customers.
- Graduate, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and JSON/YAML concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Rust, Java, Go, C++.
- Experience in microservice architectures used in modern cloud-native environments.
- Knowledge of services and solutions available in top-tier public cloud providers.
