Job Title: Master Researcher in Neuropediatrics and Rare Diseases

Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Master Researcher to join our team in the Therapeutics and Innovation in Neuropediatrics and Other Pediatric Rare Diseases (TIN-RD) group. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in the field of neuropediatrics and rare diseases, focusing on the development of innovative therapies and precision medicine approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in the field of neuropediatrics and rare diseases, with a focus on deep brain stimulation and neurosciences.
  • Collaborate with the research team to design and implement studies, collect and analyze data, and interpret results.
  • Develop and maintain databases and manage biological samples and associated data.
  • Perform routine and non-routine experiments, including molecular analysis and cell culture experiments.
  • Collaborate with genetic studies and work on variant prioritization resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and Master in Biosciences related field.
  • Good academic records and strong communication skills in English.
  • Experience in clinical and/or basic research in biomedicine, neurosciences, and biocomputational science.
