Job Description:

At Airbus, we're committed to pioneering sustainable aerospace for a safe and united world. As an Airframe/Airpower Structural Design Engineer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop major airframe components, defining composite elements and final assembly components made of multiple parts.
  • Learn and practice state-of-the-art Product Digital Design and Manufacturing Software 3DEXPERIENCE.
  • Collaborate with multifunctional teams and specialists in various engineering disciplines to design and develop aircraft structures.
  • Develop cross-product knowledge, cross-skill knowledge, and cross-functional knowledge to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Design composites/metallic components and assemblies that are optimized for weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements, and safety.
  • Plan and follow up on structural design deliverables, and interface with customers, partners, and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Education to a Degree level or equivalent in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or Industrial (Mechanical) Engineering.
  • First professional experience in airframe engineering disciplines and/or with composite structures is beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
