About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Airframe/Airpower Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Bright Horizons. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing major airframe components, defining composite elements, and ensuring the highest safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop major airframe components, including composite elements and final assembly components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet production and in-service requirements
  • Develop and maintain design documentation for manufacturing and product configuration
  • Interface with customers, partners, and suppliers to communicate design reviews and project follow-up meetings
  • Participate in rotational placements to support growth into the position of Airframe/Airpower Structural Design Engineer
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or Industrial (Mechanical) Engineering
  • Experience: First professional experience in airframe engineering disciplines and/or with composite structures
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a collaborative team environment, and self-awareness
