Job Overview

Amaris Consulting is looking for a meticulous and experienced SAP Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance our team. This role is an outside IR35 contract opportunity, dedicated to facilitating the preparation and execution of System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The position requires effective collaboration with functional consultants, developers, business analysts, and end-users to guarantee comprehensive testing and quality assurance of our integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Test Preparation:**

  • Partner with business analysts to evaluate the test scenarios for SIT and UAT.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to assess the test scripts for SIT and UAT.
  • Review and refine detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Ensure test environments are ready, confirming the availability of all necessary data and systems for testing.

2. **Test Execution:**

  • Oversee and assist in the execution of functional test cases and scripts, ensuring accurate documentation of test results and defects.
  • Work closely with testers to ensure defects are clearly documented and understood for prompt resolution.
  • Regularly communicate with Test Managers, developers, and business analysts to provide updates on testing progress and challenges.
  • Assist in correctly routing tickets raised by testers.
  • Contribute to daily test reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Demonstrated experience as a Functional Test Analyst, with a strong emphasis on SAP and CRM systems.

- Comprehensive understanding of System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies.

- Expertise in developing and executing functional test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA).

- Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO) and their integration points with other systems.

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

- Highly detail-oriented.
