About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's sustainability goals and objectives. As a Supplier Sustainability Performance Lead, you will be responsible for co-designing and executing long-term strategies to embed sustainability into our procurement business decision-making process across the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead supplier sustainability performance monitoring and improvement for assigned business units, proposing medium-term quantitative KPIs and driving program metrics.
  • Co-lead the certification at manufacturer and plantation level framework definition and engage in its execution in collaboration with category managers.
  • Design and execute suppliers' sustainability risks program in collaboration with Procurement Excellence and group risk and quality departments, establishing policies and processes compliance.
  • Contribute to internal engagement and procurement capabilities sustainability enhancement program.
  • Benchmark our programs with leading industry players' programs and engage with relevant specialized organizations to identify gaps.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8-10 years of successful track record within procurement with a strong interest in responsible sourcing topics, or sustainability with some experience in procurement.
  • Solid experience managing wide varieties of stakeholders with conflicting interests, including executive-level.
  • Outstanding cross-cultural communication and interpersonal communication skills to work with cross-functional and diverse teams of leaders and experts.
  • A curious approach to problem-solving, fueling innovation by seeking new solutions and perspectives.
  • A spirit of curiosity, embracing new challenges and pioneering innovative solutions that drive positive change.
  • Data-driven decision-making mindset with excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong business focus and bias for action, ability to bring pragmatic approach to the role.
  • High level of energy and drive.
