Warehouse Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in the Tarragona area.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in logistics management or significant experience in warehouse management, with proficiency in both English and Spanish languages.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinating the operations of another company's warehouse remotely.
  • Ensuring product quality, timely shipping, and compliance with SLAs.
  • Maintaining accurate stock-keeping and conducting regular inventory audits.
  • Managing communication with third-party logistics providers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring their performance.
  • Monitoring logistics costs to maintain budgetary efficiency.
  • Leading, motivating, and supervising warehouse staff, and effectively distributing workload.
  • Actively participating in the transformation and optimization of warehouse operations.
  • Driving the implementation of company-wide logistics processes and IT technologies in the company's warehouse.

Qualifications include:

  • Degree in logistics management or significant experience in warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish languages.
  • Strong IT skills, experience with Microsoft Dynamics or Navision being a plus.
  • Proven experience in implementing and transforming warehouse operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate team members and to foster a positive working environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
