About the Role

As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and sustainability of our raw materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Quality Roadmap: Collaborate with our global category team to develop and execute a comprehensive supplier quality agenda, ensuring sustainable quality in our supply chain.
- Supplier Qualification and Assessment: Evaluate the quality management systems of our suppliers, align on corrective actions, and follow up on resolution.
- On-Site Audits and Corrective Action: Plan and conduct on-site audits, align on corrective action plans with suppliers, and verify effective closure of corrective action plan items.
- Parts Qualification and Approval: Lead the production part approval process (PPAP) for new supplier parts/materials, including coordination of trial parts and first article inspection activities.
- Non-Conformity Resolution: Lead the non-conformity resolution process with suppliers in case of escalated technical issues from our factories, ensuring effective root-cause analysis and countermeasure implementation.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor and consolidate supplier delivery and quality KPIs, critical non-conformities escalated from our factories, and identify top concern suppliers within the category.
- Supplier Performance Improvement: Lead supplier performance improvement actions for targeted suppliers to meet customer and Hitachi Energy factories' expectations, following DMAIC and/or 8D methodology.
- Supply Quality Assurance Agreement: Lead Supply Quality Assurance Agreement coverage in alignment with our BU Category Manager.
- Collaboration and Interface: Closely collaborate with category teams to support implementation of category strategy.
