Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Engineering Lead to join our engineering team in Bilbao, Spain. As a Process Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for managing specialty disciplines to support the engineering development of steel making processes related to DRI and EAF facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage technical internal and external stakeholders for designing and planning.
  • Provide technical input for Engineering and Design deliverables.
  • Coordinate and produce discipline-specific deliverables, equipment layout, and safety procedures.
  • Spot ways to improve engineering designs and troubleshoot manufacturing process issues.
  • Represent ArcelorMittal US from the process perspective during design and implementation phases.
  • Ensure all changes to processes are controlled through Management of Change and Safety Review procedures.
  • Evaluate processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Lead and/or coordinate internal alignments among all clusters for Process Engineering activities.
  • Participate in engineering reviews at different phases of the project.
Requirements
  • University degree in any engineering discipline.
  • Deep technical knowledge of steel making processes.
  • Ability to work in an international team and flexibility to travel.
  • Desire to make a positive impact on people, communities, and the planet.
  • Passion for problem-solving.
  • Enthusiasm and energy as a collaborative team player.
  • Effective communication skills in English, spoken and written.
  • Good leadership skills and ability to deal with complexity.
