Admissions Coordinator

The Admissions Representative at Schiller International University is responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new students across our four campuses. This involves adapting to university life in an international setting and ensuring compliance with all entry requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Verify CAS requests and corresponding documents to ensure only genuine students who meet student visa requirements are issued with a CAS.
- Obtain regular updates on student visa applications and copies of all student visas granted.
- Provide the College with accurate, up-to-date lists of students issued with CAS on student route visa.
- Collaborate with university administrative and academic leadership, Admissions department, students, academic support, faculty, and external stakeholder groups to support the realization of university objectives.
- Lead new student processes, including initiation of student files that support new student experience, wellbeing, and values at Schiller.
- Ensure smooth handovers of students from Admissions to Student Services.
- Ensure new students submit all required documentation and information to comply with regulations.
- Coordinate with Campus Directors and local campus teams to provide adequate amenities for new students.
- Refer new students to departments based on needs in coordination with Campus Directors and local campus teams.
- Provide new students with opportunities to integrate into university life in a diverse and inclusive manner.
- Engage new students who enroll months in advance with additional pre-start activities to keep them engaged in university life.
- Participate in Institutional Assessment and Improvement plans.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Admissions.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3 years' experience in Higher Education.
- Data-oriented focus.
- Friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent intercultural communication skills and cultural agility.
- Experience in mentorship or coaching a plus.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in Spanish, German, or French a plus.
