Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and certification of wind towers and foundations. Your expertise in concrete structures, steel sections, and connections will be crucial in the development of our hybrid towers.
TASKS- Develop and design wind turbines made of composite steel and concrete towers and foundations, with a strong focus on concrete structures.
- Analyze and dimension concrete towers and its components, as well as tubular steel sections, using advanced analytical and numerical methods.
- Create certifiable calculation reports according to IEC and DIBT standards, ensuring compliance with certification bodies and local government authorities.
- Support manufacturing and assembly issues related to concrete and hybrid towers.
- Develop advanced non-linear FE models for concrete/steel and connections/joints, including dent and transport analysis.
- Optimize product performance LCOE through structural design and calculation.
- Identify breakthrough technologies through technological vigilance.
- Modularize, customize, and industrialize developed products.
- Develop programming applications and software tools for design of towers and foundations.
- Generate patents to ensure the intellectual property of the company.
- Certify products and interact with official certification bodies.
We are looking for a proactive, autonomous, and challenge-motivated individual with a strong background in structural engineering. Your profile should include:
- Qualification: Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Industrial) or similar.
- Complementary Training: Linear and Non-Linear (ANSYS, Abacus, SAP), Programming (C++, Python), Structures, Standards, Product development, Patent and intellectual property, technological vigilance, construction dynamics (preferred), knowledge of relevant Standards (IEC/DIBT).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
