Are you passionate about a meaningful career that drives innovation in green and affordable energy worldwide? We're seeking an Intellectual Property Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team at Nordex Group.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on IP risks and mitigations, supporting multidisciplinary teams on Intellectual Property issues globally.
  • Review invention disclosures and provide guidance on best protection strategies.
  • Manage a broad and technically diverse patent and IP portfolio, including review of patent applications, analysis, and response to official actions, oppositions, etc.
  • Conduct technology watch and trade secret protection.
  • Perform patent database searches for patentability analysis, non-infringement studies, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
  • Support in preparation and negotiation of technology license agreements.
  • Raise IP awareness in the organization by delivering training and serving as the first point of contact for any IP queries.
  • Closely collaborate with external patent attorneys.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on intellectual property protection, preferably in the renewable energy, aerospace, or IoT fields.
  • Strong technical background with a degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Ideal additional training in IP and wind technology.
  • Strong communication skills and negotiation abilities.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills in German or Spanish are a plus.
