About the Role

You will be part of the Data team at Equifax, Inc., reporting to the Chief Data Officer. Your primary focus will be on Data and Model Governance processes, ensuring the effective management and governance of data assets and models throughout their entire lifecycle. You will work closely with compliance professionals to ensure the proper use of Equifax data assets and models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data policies, maintaining and evolving them with a business perspective.
  • Collaborate with the Data Committee to ensure the efficient governance and use of Equifax data assets and models.
  • Design and implement pseudo-anonymization and anonymization processes, working closely with the Data Protection Officer.
  • Explore and discover new data sources and opportunities to create value with data, in coordination with Analytics, D&A Innovation, Sales, and Product teams.
  • Analyze the materiality and viability of data sources and opportunities, preparing prioritization proposals.
  • Facilitate open collaboration with local and global stakeholders to achieve defined goals.
Requirements
  • Graduated in Engineering, Math, or Statistics, with a strong understanding of data and models.
  • Ability to lead change management on data and model governance within the company.
  • Knowledge of Python, R, SQL, or similar languages to complement data and model governance initiatives.
  • Advanced level of English spoken and written.
  • Ability to create methodologies and roadmaps to implement data strategy principles.
