Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Technician to join our team at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S.A. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to agreed rules and processes related to assigned internal services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures adherence to defined guidelines, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensures achievement of agreed performance standards.
  • Contributes to budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Prioritizes and assigns tasks to team members, and checks progress of transactions and workflows.
  • Proposes procedures improvements and implements technical infrastructure.
  • Manages transactions with involved internal and external parties.
  • Responds to operations-related enquiries, as an escalation point of contact.
  • Reports accurately and timely to accountable management.
  • Leads employees in the team assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience as a preventive and corrective maintenance technician in G114 turbines and Siemens Gamesa Technology models.
  • Academic profile: Electrical, electromechanical, mechatronics engineer.
  • Language: English is desirable (not essential).
  • Knowledge in industrial safety in work at height and in wind turbines.
  • Knowledge in strategic planning management, resource allocation, and personnel coordination.
