Job Title: Internal Medical Translator

The Internal Medical Translator is a key role within IQVIA, responsible for delivering high-quality translations of life sciences content, including clinical trial documents. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, as well as excellent language skills in both the target and source languages.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate clinical trial documents, including protocols, informed consent forms, and case report forms, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the IQVIA team to ensure timely delivery of translations and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts to ensure accurate translation.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • Native speaker in target language: Dutch
  • Excellent spoken and written skills in the target language: Dutch
  • Fluency in source language(s) – spoken and written: English
  • At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents.
  • A tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 3 years of translation experience, or no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools.
  • Experience with memoQ.
  • Prior experience as a translator with a translation and localization company.
