Role Mission:
To learn and assist in the effective delivery of a variety of security engagements for Advantio's clients, helping them to become more resilient on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Grow your cyber security skills and competencies within a wider team, getting to know industry standards and best practices.
  2. Support other team members by participating in challenging but rewarding information/cyber security projects.
  3. Develop abilities and experiences by designing, participating, and updating organizational security policies, standards, and guidelines using best practices definition.
  4. Help coordinate all aspects of design, implementation, planning, testing, and governance of security plans, such as Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning.
  5. Build and update security metrics, documenting customer requirements and assisting the wider team in demonstrating effective knowledge transfer, reporting on key findings of onsite and offsite audits.
  6. Assist with analysis, documentation, and remediation actions in response to audit findings.
  7. Educate our clients on cyber security risks, helping their assets become more secure and improve your consultancy acumen.
  8. Recommend best cyber security practice to clients, going above and beyond to ensure they understand how to improve their security and maintain industry standards.
Requirements
  1. Degree level qualification in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  2. Basic knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT frameworks.
  3. Technical knowledge of security, networking, and cloud environments.
  4. Familiarity with Linux and Microsoft products.
  5. Basic knowledge of computer networks (Firewall, Switch, router, OSI model, etc.).
