The Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking global Internal Audit function at SoftwareONE, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be part of a team that is rapidly developing and maturing, adopting agile auditing and digitalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Manager in planning audit engagements and executing fieldwork to deliver the annual audit plan, ensuring that risks across the business are being managed and mitigated as agreed by management.
- Deliver impactful internal audits independently and as part of a team, using the SoftwareONE internal audit methodology, which includes hands-on audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Track and follow-up on audit issues and actions, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of good governance, internal control, and risk management.
- Champion the adoption of best practices and industry standards in internal audit, risk management, and compliance.
- Participate in special projects and investigations as required, demonstrating expertise and analytical skills.
Requirements
- Proven ability to critically assess controls and risks, drive actions, and deliver meaningful results, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience (big-4 experience is preferred).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and execute multiple audits simultaneously.
- Relevant qualification(s) (e.g. CIA, CPA, accounting degree), with a strong understanding of the tech sector and its challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
- Strong values, including integrity, work ethics, innovation, respect, trust, and fun, with a passion for driving business growth and innovation.
