About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer in Test to join our OPS SW team at Align Technology, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a cross-functional and multiregional development organization utilizing a broad set of technologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated test cases using Python-based frameworks
  • Conduct manual testing and participate in test design tasks
  • Estimate testing scope, plan, and monitor testing for projects
  • Prepare test documentation, including test strategy, test plans, and RTM
  • Collaborate with other applications' teams and set up CI for feature branches
  • Support and optimize test regression and clarify use-cases with internal users
  • Lead testing of team features through path-to-production flow
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation with any scripting language
  • At least 2 years of experience with Python coding
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in SQA, with at least 1 year as SQA lead
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • 1 year of experience with SQL
  • Excellent analytical skills and proactive in investigations
  • Desire to release product with good quality and ability to find defects
  • English: Upper intermediate
Preferred Skills
  • Python coding skill
  • Experience in non-functional testing
  • Experience in Linux at user level
  • 2 years of experience with SQL
  • JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, GIT user experience
  • Confident user of Windows
  • Proficiency in SQL querying and programming with DB, preferably on Python
