Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Vèringer Engineering is committed to innovation and sustainability. We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team for a cutting-edge scientific project.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Technician to work on a project that aims to demonstrate the feasibility of nuclear fusion power generation for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER).

Responsibilities:
  • Receive instructions from the team leader and execute work with varying levels of supervision.
  • Study and analyze work packages to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Prepare and clean workstations, and safely operate crane/hoist/trolley equipment.
  • Comply with quality standards and maintain equipment and tools.
  • Write weekly and daily reports, and detailed test reports and conclusions.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-10 years of experience in heavy boilermaking work.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Knowledge of standards and codes applicable to different processes.
