Job Summary

The Senior Lead Software Engineer - Digital Channels will lead the design and development of application code, implement technical solutions, and configure applications in response to business needs on a daily basis. This role requires a deep understanding of systems and applications under control, as well as the ability to manage changes and collaborate in technical analysis, implementation, and testing of approved projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design, programming, and testing (frontend and backend)
  • New projects, enhancements, and maintenance of a set of applications
  • Ensure IT Application Life Cycle standards are met in ongoing enhancements and maintenance
  • Align application changes with the application strategy and technology roadmap
  • Identify and manage risk and issues associated with the application
  • Ensure maximum operational availability and stability
  • Optimize cost efficiency

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Experience in Java / Angular (or other Javascript frameworks) analysis and programming
  • Desirable: Cloud technology (Google Cloud Platform) and Secure Software development (OWASP best practices)
  • Knowledge of software engineering, design patterns, and software architecture
  • Development background and demonstrated experience as analyst
  • Experience in analysis of existing systems from high-level architecture to application code review
  • Technical documentation, architectural diagram, components, flows, use cases
  • DevOps-oriented mind-set and experience with testing/QA tools
  • Solid technical knowledge and ability to understand complex business processes and workflows
  • Teamwork capacity with multidisciplinary teams
  • Leadership and communication skills
