About Apex Group

The Apex Group is a global financial services provider with a strong presence in the capital markets. We are seeking a highly skilled Client Service Delivery Assistant Manager - Accounting to join our team in the Administration department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand complex accounting structures and alternative asset classes in capital markets.
  • Maintain accurate accounting books and timelines for a portfolio of clients.
  • Process and reconcile transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review and validate financial statements, management reporting, and NAV calculations.
  • Guide junior staff members on account preparation and other tasks.
  • Coordinate with clients and auditors on a regular basis.
  • Monitor and exercise ongoing reporting processes, including investor, client, and regulatory reporting.
  • Liquidity management, including invoice processing and coordination.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and identify process improvements.
  • Be the first point of contact for clients' and investors' requests.
  • Coordinate the setup of capital market structures and implementation of relevant contracts and service level agreements.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Economics, or Accounting/Finance from a reputable institution.
  • Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA) or currently taking qualifications.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in MS Excel.
  • Good knowledge of alternative fund structures and asset classes.
  • Strong accounting knowledge of capital markets structures is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting in the Finance sector.
  • Ability to multitask, well-organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent numeracy, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with clients and colleagues.
  • Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory; additional European languages are an advantage.
