About the Role:
We're looking for a skilled Java developer with experience in implementing and customizing core insurance systems such as Guidewire, Salesforce, TIA, or INSIS. You'll work on developing our own systems as part of the internal R&D team, design IT solutions, prepare documentation, create unit tests, and work directly with clients as an active member of an agile project team.
About the Skills and Tools:
You'll use Java or Gosu, Git, Jenkins, IntelliJ, SOAP, REST, Apex, Oracle, MSSQL, H2, and other tools depending on the project. We're looking for someone with at least 1 year of commercial experience as a software developer, preferably in Java, and a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, clean code principles, and best practices.
About the Requirements:
You'll need a good command of English, at least B2/C1 level, fluency in French or German, and effective communication skills. You'll also need to be available to work full-time and have the ability to work in the European Union.
About the Wishes:
We're looking for someone with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly, eagerness to learn about new technologies and solutions, and willingness to travel regularly. Nice-to-have skills include Web services, Microservices, JMS knowledge, Spring, or similar hands-on experience.
