Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Payroll Specialist to join our team at Qorvo, Inc. as an EMEA Payroll Coordinator. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll processes for employees across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and validate employee data, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
- Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues related to compensation, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Coordinate with internal finance team on disbursements of funds for employees, taxes, and other payments as necessary.
- Support implementation of a new global payroll vendor, providing standard methodology, and supporting discovery sessions with key partners.
- Review and validate payroll inputs, including employee data, timesheets, benefits, and deductions, for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage payroll data integrity and maintain employee records in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Conduct periodic payroll audits to ensure data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve any payroll-related issues.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in global payroll management as well as legal requirements.
- Explore opportunities to simplify and automate processes to ensure maximum cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and document procedural improvements.
- May be responsible for development and/or delivery of training related to payroll.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of international payroll experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience using automated Payroll systems and utilizing a third-party payroll provider.
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Demonstrate high standards of customer service and excellent follow-up skills.
- Strong analytical and math skills to identify issues and problem solve.
- Critical thinker to identify areas of improvement and recommend process improvements.
- Ability to read and interpret data, information, and documents and assess reasonableness.
