Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for booking general accounting operations, controlling, and verifying our financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely bank payments.
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts and reconcile bank accounts.
- Prepare financial statements according to schedule.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns (SII knowledge is required).
- Assist in external and internal audits.
- Liaise with our Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures.
Requirements
- Over five years of experience in accounting.
- Extensive knowledge in accounting, Spanish GAAP, and financial entities accounting regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, macros, and pivot tables.
- Proactivity and autonomy.
- Desirable skills: experience as an auditor, knowledge of consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting.
